TAKEN FROM FACEBOOK POST (see Tanya Chaplow)
“Nothing stops the man who desires to achieve. Every obstacle is simply a course to develop his achievement muscle. It's a strengthening of his powers of accomplishment.
CONGRATS TO ALL - that raced today at the Loaders Westcoast 'Nitro' Champs. 3 Wanganui cars 1st, 2nd and 3rd (JD, Hairbag and Wazza) - TOPS also not to mention TWO FORDS in the top three! (Even though the holden won )
Furtherest Travelled - Stephen (8p - Dannevirke), and Dylan (79t)
For our 'rain' cover, we borrowed REALLY quickly (snaffled) from Rick Waihi (47v) - life saver - ALWAYS willing to be right in amongst the Wanganui Club and help no matter what - you are awesome m8.
HELPERS: For without you all - it would not have been so success. Krystina Chaplow and Tori Kilkolly.... our Lapscorers / Totals board / Certificates (will rectify that 'p' wazza - oops definitely a 'v') ++ thanks ladies.
ALONG with the above .... Brent, James Robbie (and for travelling all the way from Feilding), Frank, Turbo, Nigel and Rae, Bryan (Cabbage), Trazarn, Samuel, Shane and anyone I missed - thanks!
HARD LUCK - would have to go to Shane Waihi (Rick Waihi 's brother) going into last race 2nd overall and also George Duncan (Ultimate Warrior) who just had nothing but hassles and couldnt compete.
DASH FOR CASH - Electric Stockcars .... 1st Andrew (Turbo - 69v), 2nd Shane Wilson and 3rd Dylan Rose ... to all entered and made a huge effort - thanks
Signing off - as I feel like a train wreck .... but we were so blessed to get this meeting completed today, the weather threw almost everything at us.
FINAL thanks to our sponsors - YOU GUYS ROCK ... Loaders, Drainworld, Total Span, Eastside Recyclers, Digs-b services (who spent last week helping us drill and 'pin' down the track), H & A Print.
Oh JD (Jason Jd Birdling) - I am guessing 1st Nitro West Coast can be dedicated to your Nana An awesome tribute to her mate
Heh heh - yeah Rick(Rick Waihi) too true ... I shoulda said A FORD DRIVER ... chuckle (Next meeting yet to be decided folks - will stay in touch - cheers)

Well.....what a awesome event the Wanganui RC Stockcar club put on. Great to see a good turn out of Nitro cars so we could bash and crash around the track and give it a good test!! ( Had to be tighten up a few times!!..lol) Thanks to all the helpers that lap scored, marshell's etc...meeting ran smoothly with all the help. Congrads to JD on the win brother, and Hairbag for 2nd (We have got him to come over to the darkside!!).
Car finally had a trouble free 5 races..about the first time in a long time it has gone well!! Looking forward to rest of season.
