The Taranaki RC Speedway club is proud to announce the running of the 2014, Rural Direct, New Zealand RC Streetstock Teams Championships.
Entries are now open:
Date: Saturday 26th April 2014.
Venue: Taranaki RC Speedway Club permanent Indoor Venue,
2457 South Road Okato (State Highway on the left 500m South of the Okato township)
Doors open at 7am, Scrutineering and practice at 8.30am, Drivers Briefing at 10am.
Pit Area: The Taranaki RC Speedway club will provide pit tables for all competitors to save room for those of you travelling, you will have to bring your own seating unfortunately.
Power: Each team will be supplied with power outlets at your table. Please bring your own stacker boards / short extension cords.
Rules: NZRCS rules for Streetstock teams racing, maximum of five drivers per team (four cars on track per race)
Format: Full round robin. (possibly double round robin if numbers allow - decision will be made by TRCSC committee at close of entries)
Track direction: Decided by coin toss before race. Heads clockwise, Tails anti-clockwise.
Team on Pole: Decided by coin toss before race, winner of toss decides team on pole and position on track.
Please Note: as per the 2014 NZRCS Rulebook, section 11.6 (teams rules)
CLUB TEAMS:
Each club is able to enter a maximum of 2 teams. (there are currently 13 NZRCS registered clubs in New Zealand)
All team members to be current financial members of the club they are representing, and be registered to NZRCS.
WINNING TEAM:
The winning team gains title and the Teams Club gains hosting rights.
SELECT TEAMS:
Select teams are to consist of a maximum of 5 vehicles, a minimum of 4 drivers from various clubs per team, with a maximum of 2 team members from a particular club.
Normal Teams Rules Apply
Before the event the team must nominate which club they will give hosting rights to should they win.
WINNING SELECT TEAM
If the select team wins the Teams Nationals, the Team gains title but hosting rights go to their nominated club.
Lap Counting: AMB (you must provide your own personal transponder number if you are running one) NZRCS handout transponders are available in limited numbers, $5 per day hire fee, please indicate on entry if required..
Close of entries: Monday 14th April at midnight.
No late entries.
Entries are $50.00 per team and is to be paid to the Taranaki RC Speedway account before close of entries, no entries fees will be accepted on the day.

Please note, although this is a NZRCS sanctioned National title event, it is intended to run the meeting with a fun atmosphere. Please leave any issues you may have at home before leaving as we do not want them here.
FOOD and DRINK (both hot and cold) will be available at the venue to purchase.
We will be cooking our famous Breakfast to pre-order, information on this will be on a separate thread.
In conjunction with this meeting, on the Saturday we will be running a Stockcar 'Dash-for-cash' for those interested. $15-00 per car run over 4 races throughout the day.
Format and prize pool will be decided dependent on entry numbers with CASH prizes paid out.

Sunday the 27th April 2014 we will be the running of the 2014 Taranaki Championships. Entries for this are on a seperate thread.
