As I was going through some sites today, i found this thread on the Hawkes Bay RC Speedway forums. Its an 'interesting' read on some opinions on scrutineering. hawkesbayrc.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=762And for the people going to Wellington for the NI's this weekend, according to another thread on the HB site (reason for the above thread), rules are going to be strictly inforced. Dont comply - dont race by the sounds of it.

I love the 3mm rule. Very interesting to police that one. The new rules made up each year are Im sure just so some one can look at the rules and beat their chests and go "yip, I made up that rule!!" Unless they are using digital calipers to measure everything 3mm is gonna be a tough one.

If they police the 3mm rule anyone running a slick is going to be turned away. because of the design undernieth the front and rear bumper. Can someone let me know what happens down there with the slick chassis.
cheers
