I would like to take this opportunity to once again congratulate EVERY person for their efforts today, and for their sportsmanship. It was a really great 'little' meeting with a lot of laughs at the "Holdens vs Fords'- soz Shane n Rick - chuckle! ;D
To Aaron for cleaning up the money pools in both the Stockcars and Streetstocks; and Matt in the Nitros.
Admitedly in both the Nitros and the Streetstocks the results could have varied rather dramatically if it had not rained. Looking at the results you will see who was right on their tails.
Yes, our beautiful NOT 19c day turned out to last long enough for a skid, (to race 3) and for some a check out of cars before the big event in a couple of weeks - the New Zealands in Hawke Bay!
We welcomed David (??p) racing Kev Smiths Streety (oooppss - lotsa 'breaking in the new boys and fixing - soz kev), and also Devin (619p) in a lovely 'purple' stockcar. Also Steve (4s) back from the Naki for another rub after the Norths. Good on ya folks!
Cheers Shane and Wobbly for getting out their and setting up what you could, but wobbly for your continuing help through the day - cheers. All hands make a difference.
Summer Series Prizegiving at the end was a great way to congratulate those efforts to continued sportsmanship, committment and travel" - you know who you are and if not check out the placings on the forum!!!
SO TO ALL - GOOD LUCK AT THE NEW ZEALANDS!!!!Attachments:

Hi guys,
Thank you to everyone who organised and raced today, was alot of fun despite the weather not playing the game at the end.
That is the first time that I have raced on your outdoor track (I have wanted to come down for a while) and had an absolute ball.
Hope to be back soon, and good luck to all those travelling over to HB for the nationals.
Cheers Aaron 47s
